WHAT IS HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING?

High-intensity interval training (HIIT) is any workout that involves short, intense bursts of effort followed by periods of recovery. The idea is that you go as hard as you possibly can for a short time, rest and then do it again. The intense intervals, particularly the use of the recoveries, allow you to keep reaching your maximum training zone, which is where the results kick in.
We suggest you build a good level of basic fitness and have a regular routine of cardio and resistance training before you try HIIT.

LES MILLS GRIT™ Strength is a 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout, designed to improve strength and build lean muscle. This workout uses barbell, weight plate and body weight exercises to blast all major muscle groups. LES MILLS GRIT Strength takes cutting edge HIIT and combines it with powerful music and inspirational coaches who will be down on the floor with you, motivating you to go harder to get fit, fast.
